Caroline Gidiere’s Classic Georgian Home

Birmingham-based decorator, Caroline Gidiere is one of the chicest and kindest people I know. Not only does she have the most beautiful home in Mountain Brook (with hundreds of Instagram posts featuring the Georgian-style house as proof), the former attorney is smart as a whip and has a wicked sense of humor. Caroline and I first met a few years ago at High Point and have quickly bonded over a shared love of many of the same things, be it our adoration of all things French or our shared appreciation of bad reality television and meaningful conversations. Caroline has become a very dear friend to me, so I couldn’t be more thrilled that her stunning home is not only featured in Veranda‘s March issue, but it is also its cover star! I have been in this gorgeous home in person and there are so many glorious details to take in. Built only a decade ago in collaboration with the talented architect, James F. Carter, the scale and wonderful architectural details make this home feel as it is significantly older. While the exterior is more restrained, the interiors feature a riot of color and pattern executed with e deft hand.

Be sure to get your copy of Veranda to enjoy this beauty in all of its glossy glory. In the meantime, you can find additional details and resources on Veranda.com.
