Palm Beach Beauty

Have you seen the new issue of Veranda? It’s the first with the new editor-in-chief, Steele Macroux at the helm and it is fabulous! The entire issue features a focus on Palm Beach, a welcome breath of fresh air at the height of winter. While I genuinely liked all of the homes included in the issue, my favorite was the cover star, a beautiful home in Palm Beach designed by Phoebe Howard. The house is swathed in classic patterns from various types of stripes to cheerful batiks and paisleys. You’ll notice lots of details that are signatures of the Palm Beach vernacular– woven accents along with plaster details from the chandeliers to the chic hand-made Parisian mirrors above the headboard in the master bedroom. I recently brought back a grouping of the same gorgeous mirrors from Paris which we will carry in our new shop, Paloma & Co very soon. More on that soon, but for now, enjoy this stunning home! It’s hard to pick a favorite room since they are all so pretty, but the latticed family room shown above is an absolute showstopper. Do you agree?
