How is it already June? Can you believe today marks the first of June and we are officially halfway through the year? It’s crazy to think about! While it’s always nice to have a long weekend like we did for Memorial Day last weekend, I always find the short week that follows to be pretty hectic as you try to work five days of work into four days. This week, in addition to working on several new client projects, we have been busy getting ready for a sale I am having on Chairish soon, so stay tuned because I’ll have lots of stylish goodies up for grabs. In the meantime, here’s what has been on my radar this week.

Design: Do you remember Ross Cassidy from Million Dollar Decorators? He’s kept a lower profile since appearing on the show, but continues to do beautiful work on his own. Architectural Digest just published a tour of a super chic, modern, and layered home he designed for his new boyfriend. You can see the whole tour here.

Style: Our very own LDV Contributor, Karima Hunter of the blog, A Note on Style and her column by the same name here is one of the most stylish people I know. We finally met in person during Legends of La Cienega in Los Angeles a few weeks ago and she was as lovely as I had imagined. She exudes warmth and a very special effortless elegance. If you don’t already follow her blog and Instagram, you absolutely should as everything she shares is chic, chic, chic!

Watch: Have you seen The Gospel According to André yet? The documentary about André Leon Talley, former Editor-at-Large of Vogue, looks absolutely fascinating. Talley has a larger than life personality, and extraordinary sense of self, and quite an incredible career. I am hoping it will play in Houston soon! Watch the trailer here.

Travel: On Tuesday, I’ll be heading to New York for a couple of meetings and the ELLE DECOR A-List event. It will be so nice to celebrate this wonderful honor with so many friends! Just as soon as I get back from New York, Fabian and I will head to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico for a long weekend. It has been 12 years since we have been there and we hear it has changed tremendously. If you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear what your San Miguel favorites are!

Shop: Summer always means pretty peasant dresses, chic sandals, woven bags, and fun accessories in my book. I just ordered these fabulous gold bow sandals today and am loving this chambray peasant dress. I love anything chambray! This cute bag and these darling earrings would complete the outfit perfectly!
