Happy Friday! Yesterday was one of those days when the universe seems to conspire against you and things just keep going wrong. I am so glad it is behind me now and that a new day is upon us, especially since that day is the Friday during a long weekend. I’ll keep this short and sweet since you likely have weekend plans, but please do let me know what has been on your radar this week. I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend!

Design: My Instagram feed has been blowing up with photos from this year’s Chelsea Flower Show in London. The event is hosted by the Royal Horticulture Society and is widely regarded as the top flower show in the world. I have just added going to this event to my bucket list. It looks absolutely incredible and like a dream for anyone who loves flowers as beautiful blooms have taken over London. You can take a little tour here for now, that is until you book your ticket for the next show!

Style: The Resort Shows have just taken place, as I am sure you know. I always love seeing what designers come up with for resort because the collections are geared towards a fabulous, fantasy life and it is fun to imagine all of the getaways I would plan around the beautiful clothes. Harper’s Bazaar has a great recap of The Best of the Resort 2019 Runways. Which collection did you love the most?

Watch: I randomly came across a new show on Bravo the other day that Fabian and I have really ended up enjoying. Sell It Like Serhant, stars Ryan Serhant of Million Dollar Listing New York. Each week, he visits someone who is struggling in their sales job and is on the verge of being let go. Ryan takes them under his wing and teaches them the skills that have made him such a successful salesmen. It’s endearing and fun to watch people who were floundering find a newfound confidence and truly succeed. It’s a nice, feel-good show and I’ve actually picked up some good pointers. It airs on Bravo on Tuesday nights and is available OnDemand.

Beauty: I’ve recently found a couple of beauty products that I am now obsessed with! When I find something I love, I have to share, so hopefully, you’ll love these products, too. The first is a new mascara called It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara. I received a sample of it, tried it the other day and instantly loved it. It goes on super easily and I don’t need more than a coat or two for my lashes to look long and full. The best part is that my lashes still feel soft, whereas most other mascaras can make them feel a bit brittle. I’ve tried a few other products from this brand that I really love. It was developed by the founder with plastic surgeons to be innovative, effective, and good for your skin. I love their Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder which has SPF 50 UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum Sunblock in it. The last product isn’t glamorous at all, but it is a major go-to for me. I can’t stand it when new shoes give me blisters, which unfortunately would happen from time to time since I am out and about and on my feet a lot. While in Paris last year, I found an amazing anti-blister stick that I now swear by. It’s like a mini deodorant stick, so you just rub it on the parts of your feet where your shoes might rub. It goes on clear, doesn’t have a fragrance, is not sticky, and does not leave a residue. Best of all, I recently found it on Amazon, so I’ve stocked up for sandal season!

Shop: This Memorial Day, so many fabulous sales are underway! Moda Operandi, Net-A-Porter, Matches, Nordstrom, and Shopbop are all having major designer sales with savings up to 50% off while J.Crew is offering 40% off your entire purchase including new arrivals! On the home front, One Kings Lane, Wisteria, and Williams Sonoma Home are all having major sales, so it’s a great time to shop, if you’ve had your eye on something.
