Fabulous Room 12.29.17

One of the chicest interiors to be published this year was the new Soho loft of Jenna Lyons, former creative director of J.Crew, which recently appeared in T Magazine. The oft emulated arbiter of style is famous for her aesthetic, whether it’s in her fashion sense or her houses. Her last home appeared in Domino years ago and launched a bevy of Lyons’-inspired interiors. Her new home is sure to have a similar effect because it is so chic. The entire loft is super cool, but the kitchen is especially fabulous with its deep charcoal cabinetry, pale oak herringbone floors, timeless marble-clad island, custom brass backsplash, and vintage Italian chandelier. Jenna’s kitchen looks like the perfect place to gather around with a glass of champagne in time for New Year’s Eve!

{The Custom Brass Backsplash and Countertop– I’m assuming it has some kind of coating on it because I’m not sure how well it would age beyond regular patina with such intense use, but it is so fun!}
