True Blue

The November issue of House Beautiful features a beautiful project by Lee Ann Thornton. The Greenwich, Connecticut house is filled with exuberant color and pattern, but feels perfectly layered and cozy. Each space has a traditional foundation, with lots of classic furniture and references to the past– a breath of fresh air in a world that can be overly trend-driven at times. Lee Ann and her clients are clearly big fans of blue and white, but she makes it feel fresh by layering in touches of purple, red, and green. This home has so much personality and could serve in a lesson on how to mix textiles with aplomb.
