Fabulous Room 10.06.17

I got home from Paris on Tuesday and later today, I’ll be heading to Birmingham, Alabama for Antiques at the Gardens where I will be speaking on a panel as well as giving a solo lecture. Paris was amazing and I am sure Birmingham will also be lovely, but all I am craving is a little downtime and what could be better than a beautiful bath in which to relax? The November issue of Architectural Digest features a tour of the fashion-forward London-area home of model and actress, Poppy Delevingne. The whole house is colorful and fun, but the best room in the house is hands-down the master bathroom. The walls are covered in a beautiful, green, hand-painted wallpaper by deGournay creating the effect of being in a garden. Meanwhile, the pink clawfoot bathtub and brass plumbing fixtures amplify the femininity and glamour of the space.

  1. Wow- this space is beyond lovely! I am always attracted to neutral interiors- beige, white and cream. However , this color and pattern is truly breathtaking. The creativity and design here is remarkable. I too would want to relax in a tub here!!
