I love spaces in neutral, high-contrast palettes that feature a chic mix of antiques along with both traditional and modern pieces. When you mix in interesting textures, warm woods, woven natural fibers, white plaster, and touches of green, the results are always chic. This is the look I love the most and the way that I personally prefer to live– classic, polished, and timeless. What could be better? The same certainly goes for fashion– simple silhouettes with special details in a classic palette of black, white, and camel are not only perfect for spring, but for any time of year. Whoever said neutral is boring is sorely mistaken in my book!

I also love high contrast spaces!!
The art in this post reminds me of fellow artist I spoke on a panel with last month–Jordan Grove.
He trained in graphic design and began musing on our use of the written word and letter as a culture. We no longer write the word and cherish them. So as a way of pushing back on the new standard of our use of letters he began abstracting them as art. The result is really beautiful! http://jgrove.com/Abecedarium-1
I’m so glad you enjoyed the post! Thank you so much for turning me on to Jordan’s work. I love it. Truly beautiful!
