Aquazzura x de Gournay

Last week, it was announced that shoe designer, Edgardo Osorio’s brand Aquazzura and my favorite purveyor of fine hand-painted wallpapers, deGournay are collaborating on a beautiful shoe collection! I couldn’t be more thrilled! Aquazzura’s covetable shoes are not only chic, but more importantly, they’re comfortable. Meanwhile, deGournay creates the most exquisite hand-painted wallpapers including the gorgeous one I used in my showhouse room last year. Together, these two design houses collaborated on an exclusive, vibrant, and feminine pattern with a tropical vibe representative of Osorio’s Colombian roots and applied it to a capsule collection of beautifully designed shoes. The collection will be available through MatchesFashion.com in May, so stay tuned!

  1. Well this truly is a match made in heaven! I am so drawn to the pair of ankle wrap shoes covered in my favorite wallcovering. I think I speak for many of us with a moderate budget when I say that I often find myself depriving my closet in favour of my home decor – and then the vice versa with periods of depriving my home decor in favour of my closet! This is a win win 🙂
