Style Star: Giorgia Tordini

A while ago, I noticed that I kept pinning photos of the same girl wearing outfits that I loved. I soon learned her name is Giorgia Tordini, an Italian-born designer and creative consultant based in New York. She is also co-founder of  the fashion label, The Attico and has a fabulous Instagram account. Georgia’s style is chic, effortless, and cool as well as a testament to the fact that less is definitely more. All a girl truly needs are red nail polish, beautifully-tailored clothes in simple silhouettes, and some great accessories. In describing her own style, Giorgia says “It’s about how to look elegant by wearing something simple, how to look sexy without being naked, and how to look feminine wearing masculine-inspired outfit.” P.S. You may recognize the gorgeous olive green outfit above from my last Friday Favorites post. I am still obsessed with it! Do any of you know the designer? Max Mara perhaps?

  1. Okay, now I am obsessed!I love her style. You might want to check out Mango Premium, a lot of her posts seem to feature, it has a lot of monochromatic outfits.

  2. I love every outfit shown here. She does have a classic, feminine look in all that she wears. Enough with the ripped jeans leggings & midrif baring tops as street wear. Thank you for sharing. Happy Thanksgiving!

  3. I AM INSPIRED BY WOMEN WHOSE STYLE/LOOK MIRRORS MY OWN. GIORGIA TORDINI AND ELIN KLING ARE MY GO TO GIRLS FOR INSPIRATION. MINUS THE SKIRTS AND THE DRESSES, AS OF RIGHT NOW I DON’T WEAR THEM, BUT AM LOOKING TO MAYBE ADD SOME TO MY WARDROBE; I HAVE SOME VARIATION OF EVERYTHING LISTED/SHOWN ABOVE. I WOULD SAY MY STYLE IS “BORROWED FOR THE BOYS, YET DISTINCTLY FEMININE”. I HAVE A VERY SIGNATURE LOOK SOMETHING I DIDN’T REALIZE UNTIL I STUMBLE ACROSS THE SITE: INTO MIND. I TEND TO GRAVITATE TOWARDS THE SAME SILHOUETTE/SHAPES/COLORS (BLACK, WHITE/CREAM, GREY(S), BEIGE/CAMEL, OLIVE, AND RED). I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT LESS IS MORE. I LIKE MID BLUE (AND BLACK) HIGH RISE SKINNY JEANS AND SIMPLE STRAIGHT LEG/SKINNY ANKLE TROUSERS PRIMARILY IN BLACK AND NAVY BLUE. I WEAR A LOT OF TEES, BUTTON DOWNS, AND TOPS/BLOUSES WITH MINIMAL YET INTERESTING DETAILS. I LOVE A GOOD BLAZER WHICH HAS BECOME INCREASINGLY HARD TO FIND FOR A GOOD PRICE. DURING THE COLDER MONTHS I LIKE SWEATERS: CREW, V, TURTLE NECKS AND WAIST TIE AND MENSWEAR INSPIRED LONG COATS. SHE APPEARS SO EFFORTLESS AND THAT IS THE FEELING YOU WANT TO INVOKE IN OTHERS… NOT THAT YOU TRIED TOO HARD.
