A Beautiful Atlanta Garden

There’s something so special and inspiring about a lush, verdant garden. This charming, English-inspired garden in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood is certainly no exception. It serves as a lovely extension of a recently built, English regency estate designed by architect William T. Baker and modeled after the great, old houses of decades past. The garden was designed by the talented Alec Michaelides of Land Plus Associates and feels as if it has been around for years. However, if you can believe it, it was only recently planted! The carefully lined boxwood hedges and rows of flowers set the stage for the lovely greenhouse and workshop which is often mistaken for a guesthouse. The homeowners are avid gardeners are passionate about the outdoors. Can you imagine a more perfect place for them?

  1. OMG! I know this house, I’ve driven past it a dozen times. The glass greenhouse is something right out of a fairytale! Thanks for posting the beautiful photos so I could see the backyard of this lovely home. It’s one of those houses that you’d like to knock on the door and ask if you can take a peek inside. LOVE IT!
    Cheers!
