Valentino Spring 2017

valentino-13

Pierpaolo Piccioli presented his first solo collection as Creative Director of Valentino at the beautiful Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild in Paris. The stunning collection is filled with many of the beautiful details that are hallmarks of Valentino– delicate, elaborate embroidery, signature red, and feminine silhouettes. The expansive collection included 64 looks with both daytime and evening looks. My favorite looks range from the more romantic ensembles to the more streamlined ones, but they are all stunningly beautiful and if the buzz on Instagram is any indication, this collection is a huge hit!

  1. Wow, what a gorgeous location! I love the cute little crossover bags that are just big enough for a credit card and a lipstick – not terribly useful, but pretty nonetheless. I love the flat shoes as well. The colours are luscious and some of the clothes are actually wearable. Nicely done!

  2. Okay, someone clarify… Is that a necklace, wallet or cell phone holder, lol? Whatever it is I want one. I think worn as a necklace it looks fresh.
