On My Bookshelf: Wanderlust by Michelle Nussbaumer

There are so many wonderful books being released this fall. I can hardly wait to get my hands on them! One of the titles I am eagerly anticipating is Michelle Nussbaumer‘s Wanderlust. The Dallas-based tastemaker, designer, and owner of the chic store Ceylon et Cie is known for her globally-inspired style. With additional homes in San Miguel de Allende and Gstaad, Michelle leads an enviable, jet-setting lifestyle. It was only a matter of time before Michelle’s signature style culminated in a book.

Wanderlust is organized by mood and style, which I love, and features homes Michelle has designed all around the country, influenced by Michelle’s travels across the globe from Paris, Rome, and Mexico to Africa and China. The foreward is written by another talented tastemaker and maximalist, Hutton Wilkinson, Tony Duquette’s protege and a design legend in his own right. I recently got a preview of the book and it is filled with¬†beautiful, sumptuous, globally-influenced interiors that are sure to inspire a major case of wanderlust. Wanderlust will officially hit bookshelves on September 20th, but you can pre-order your copy here.

  1. Michelle’s shop in Dallas is every designer’s dream – each vignette is better than the next and jewelry is to die for….she really has an exceptional eye for style and it shows in every aspect of her life. Thanks for the peek into her new book!
