Mecox Farm

Mecox Farm Aerial Rear

I love Instagram for a lot of reasons, but the main one is that it keeps me up to date on what is happening and serves as a source of inspiration. As I was scrolling through my feed yesterday, I noticed @kdhamptons shared a photo of a stunning home in the Hamptons. Mecox Farm is a fabulous, three acre estate in Water Mill, New York. The house itself is over 12,000 square feet and was designed by James Michael Howard, architectural designer and husband of Phoebe Howard, as in Mr. and Mrs. Howard. The estate is completely classic and perfect for its location, yet it maintains a modern air with lacquered wall treatments and interesting wallpapers, statement lighting, clean-lined millwork, and a mix of modern and traditional furnishings. Shall we take a tour?

  1. The exterior of the villa is fascinating, but the interior is even more special and impressive! We love how the big and airy spaces are filled with simplicity, yet every area has its own fresh, chic and cheerful character with pop of colors and combination of modern and classic!
