Hello LDV readers! Brendan here of B.A.D | Blog About Design. For today’s Jet Set post, I’m taking us to the big apple! New York is amazing in the spring, it’s not too hot, or too cold, so it’s the perfect time to experience everything this incredible city has to offer. The Ludlow Hotel is located in the Lower East Side on Ludlow St, a 4- minute walk from the subway and 1.4 miles from Washington Square Park. What I like about the Ludlow Hotel is its warm interiors, that have a modern edge. (ABOVE) The front of the hotel features a brick facade, and large windows.
(Above) The lobby of the hotel has to be one of my favorite spaces, I love the wood paneling, brick, and modern (brutalist), yet traditional interiors. There’s definitely a great balance here.
(Above) The bar is located adjacent the main lobby seating area. It’s the perfect place to kick back and relax while you wait to check-in.
(Above) This wonderful garden space is perfect place to read the morning paper, and have a cup of coffee. I love all the plantings, and mixed furnishings.
(Above) One of the suites at the hotel. Views of the big apple from wall to wall. How great are the armchairs, so cozy looking!
(Above) The living room of the one of the suites is absolutely incredible. Looks like a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of exploring the city!
(Above) The bathrooms are so pretty as well. I love the white tile, and embellished tile flooring. The brass/gold accents are very nice as well.
(Above) One of the balconies of the suites, I love how large and private the balcony is! What a great place to take in the views of the city.
