Currently Obsessed: Tory’s Tables

I love following Tory Burch on Instagram. She is inspiring on so many levels– a brilliant business woman, arbiter of style, and philanthropist. She has a keen eye for style and has been a genius when it comes to creating her brand through its various extensions. The table top settings at her events, whether personal or corporate, are always chic.

I have been inspired by the tabletop design at a couple of events she hosted at her Milan flagship nearly a year ago and haven’t been able to get them out of my mind. The formula is actually quite simple: long tables, her go-to Louis XVI style dining chairs with natural frames, Prussian blue velvet upholstery, and nickel nailheads; a signature textile (her Gingko leaf pattern above and a blue and white batik style below), and a charming mix of topiaries alongside simple floral arrangements. Add a delightful roster of guests, beautiful, but simple food, some good wine, and voila, a chic party is born!
