Around this time of year, I start gravitating towards very neutral palettes– crisp white, ivory, and gray. Perhaps it’s the winter season or maybe it is the impending new year that makes me crave a clean slate. Either way, this beautiful home in Mill Valley, just outside of San Francisco fits the bill. This chic house is the home of architect, Barbara Chambers, who is known for her aesthetic of understated elegance and quiet luxury. The home’s classic lines are balanced with a warm, neutral palette and a mix of raw and refined materials that speak perfectly to the Bay Area sensibility.
