Pippa Holt’s Vibrant Dublin Home

Pippa Holt is an uber-chic contributing editor at British Vogue, fashion designer, and mother of three darling children. The native Australian now lives in London. Over the weekend, I was pleasantly surprised that she left a comment on one of my Instagram posts about a house in Houston. As it turns out, Pippa and her husband lived in Houston very briefly a few years ago and she fell in love with it saying it is her “most favorite place to live on earth”. That is a pretty ringing endorsement from a fashionable globetrotter! In fact, Pippa’s time in Houston’s heat inspired her to start a line of hand-woven kaftans called Ulysses. Pippa’s beautiful, colorful Dublin home has been editorialized a few times, most notably in The Times and in Moda Familia. Filled with cheerful colors, striking abstract art, and beautiful ikats, the two hundred year old Dublin townhouse once belonged to Lady Jane Wilde, the mother of the legendary Oscar Wilde. The classic architecture lends itself perfectly to Pippa’s modern sensibility and the result is both stylish and welcoming.
