Fabulous Room Friday 12.11.15

Natalie Massenet Michael S Smith ADThis week, I stumbled across this image of Net-A-Porter founder, Natalie Massenet’s master bedroom in London. Her ultra-chic home was designed by Michael S Smith and was featured in the September 2014 issue of Architectural Digest. I was drawn to the lush, traditional Zuber wallpaper in a rich russet red hue juxtaposed against the gleaming chrome bed from Jasper. Natalie’s beautiful bedroom, like the entire house, marries sleek, modern pieces with a traditional foundation set by the home’s classic architecture and mix of antiques. The result feels very fashion forward, which is no surprise considering the homeowner is a major player in the fashion industry. I have a feeling the bedroom must offer a chic, sumptuous respite from the frenetic pace of a life in fashion!

  1. I’ve seen that bed crop up in a few places now and I’m just smitten. Sadly, our teeny bedroom would be overwhelmed by it, but a girl can dream. And that wallpaper – stunning!
