A Textile Tale

{Fabrics by Raoul Textiles, Ralph Lauren, and Robert Kime Take Center Stage in the Living Room}

The lovely home of young, Los-Angeles interior designer, Eliza Dyson is featured in the December/January issue of House Beautiful. Eliza worked for design doyenne, Suzanne Rheinstein upon leaving the film industry to pursue her love of interior design. Through her work with Suzanne, Eliza honed her fresh, California traditional aesthetic. One thing I noticed as I poured over the rooms in her home was her use of beautiful textiles. The fabrics are striking, but because of the Eastern-influence, the vibe is effortless and classic rather than over the top and trendy. Notice how stripes are paired with hand block printed fabrics in nearly every room. I love the way Eliza curates chic fabrics from the likes of Penny Morrison, Rogers & Goffigon, Muriel Brandolini, and C & C Milano throughout her home and have no doubt we will be seeing more from this talented designer in the future.

For the full tour and fabric resources, be sure to see the full feature in the new issue of House Beautiful.

  1. This room is AMAZING. Moved to the top of my inspiration list. Have you seen anything like that large floral art over the banquette? There doesn’t seem to be any info about the artist in the HB sources section. Would love to find it!

    1. Hi there,
      Ok, I’m late to the party but absolutely love these rooms.
      The designers are on fire.
      I really love the the living room. And particularly the beautiful armchairs in the pear print fabric.
      I saw all the details of the fabric in the room but alas not this one.
      I was hoping you might be able to share the information on this print if possible.
      Again totally in love with this room. Adore this California look.

      Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.
      Cheers Paul
