Jet Set: New York during Holiday Season

Andaz 5th ave entranceHello LDV readers! Brendan here of B.A.D | Blog About Design. For today’s Jet Set post, I’m taking us to NYC. Manhattan is the best place to be during the holiday season. The Andaz 5th Avenue is the perfect place to stay while you’re visiting. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, close to Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, NY Public Library, Bryant Park, and much more! The hotel is chic and modern, it has a very much loft feel. It includes a fitness center, bar, restaurant, and many other amenities. (ABOVE) The entrance is grand and inviting. The windows and doors are absolutely beautiful. Don’t forget to take a walk up Fifth Avenue to see the window displays at Bergdorf Goodman and all of the fabulous holiday decorations at the stores along the way!

lounge(ABOVE) The library & den is a great place to come down to and send a few emails before you take on NYC or read a great book. I’m a huge fan of the dark wood paneling, super luxe.

  1. And what about what to pack in your suitcase if you are a man? Seeing as the writer of the post is a man I presume that these clothes are not what he himself packs! Or are they?

  2. A lot of people like to say NYC is a lousy city or overrated, but your pictures are convincing me otherwise. Maybe I just need to finally visit it myself and see for myself.
