Fabulous Room Friday 11.06.15

I picked up the new issue of Veranda in the airport as I head to Los Angeles this week. It is filled with beautiful features this month including this stunning bedroom designed by Miles Redd. It is swathed in beautiful de Gournay wallpaper in the prettiest shade of blue. I’m assuming it was a custom color, but I’d like to think of it as midnight blue which is just perfect for a dreamy bedroom like this. The room is traditional through and through, yet it feels exuberant and magical in typical Miles Redd fashion.

I had the pleasure of attending the opening gala of the 2015 Maison de Luxe at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills last night. It was wonderful to see the beautiful and imaginative rooms designed by so many of my talented friends including Mark Sikes, Lauren Liess, Beth Webb, Andrew Brown, Kristen Buckingham, Brian Paquette, Benjamin Vandiver, Amy Meier, and Timothy Corrigan. Be sure to follow along on Instagram @LaDolceVitaBlog as I share some images from last night!

  1. Am I missing something? Why is there (what I’m assuming is) a chaise longue turned backwards next to the bed as well as a random stool?
