Fabulous Room Friday 09.11.15

Kitchen Palmer Weiss

This week, I am feeling inspired by the airiness of this San Francisco kitchen designed by Palmer Weiss. The home is featured in the new issue of ┬áC Magazine and is located in the Presidio Heights neighborhood in San Francisco. Palmer’s clients are a couple of working professionals with young children. Palmer teamed up with architect Charlie Barnett to transform what was originally a dark, dated home into a fresh, inviting space. One of the big items on the clients’ wish list was a great room where the family could gather for various activities. The space feels classic, yet completely modern and youthful. It exudes a cheerful energy between the crisp white paint on all of the millwork, white countertops and backsplash, and the pop of green from the dining chairs at the breakfast table. My favorite elements are the beautiful ceiling and the statement-making Globus pendants by Urban Electric Co.
