Victoria Hagan has designed some of my favorite beach homes, so I was thrilled to see her own beach house featured in the July issue of Architectural Digest. Hagan has spent summers in Nantucket since she was a young girl, so when she finally found the perfect parcel of land, she decided to build and design a home there for her own family in collaboration with Botticelli and Pohl Architects. She set out to create a house that would be historically appropriate and that would truly feel like a beach house. I’d say the result is perfectly executed– chic, classic American style at the beach. Brava, Victoria!
