Fabulous Room Friday 04.03.15

As I mentioned in yesterday’s “In the Mood” post, I am currently feeling very drawn to a 1970s, bohemian-influenced aesthetic, particularly one revolving around a neutral palette. When I spotted this living room by DISC Interiors in Los Angeles, I knew it suited the vibe perfectly. The black built-ins and fireplace serve as a striking focal point within the space. I love the black, white, and grey palette. Though neutral, it feels quite warm thanks to a variety of textures, tried and true stripes, and a couple of patterns on the pillows. The art really brings the space together and I seriously love the three-arm wall light. How cool is that piece? As much as I love super polished and tailored interiors, I find that this room is at once ultra-relaxed, yet completely chic– very boho luxe, no? Have a great weekend!

  1. I love those chairs! I like these posts. After going with symmetry for awhile, I realized that I like things a bit more relaxed, too. I’m not sure where it will all go but it feels good to cultivate relaxation!

  2. I am going to get a rug like this right away! Love the fresh and clean look! Very elegant!
