An Easter Tabletop by Carolyne Roehm

Blue and White Carolyn Roehm

With Easter Sunday and Passover just a few days away, many of you are likely on the cusp of entertaining and in case you haven’t decided on your table setting and floral arrangements just yet, I thought I’d share a favorite of mine.

Few people do flowers and tables as beautifully as Carolyne Roehm and this is certainly no exception. While she didn’t design this stunning tabletop with a specific holiday in mind, it was meant to beckon Spring. Blue and white is one of the most classic combinations and while it works year round, I especially love it in the Spring and Summer months. It is elegant, but approachable– perfect for a gathering with friends and family. You’ll notice in these photos that Carolyne culled together some of the most beautiful blooms of the Spring season– cherry blossom branches, hyacinth, tulips, hellebores, and sweet pansies potted in little pots de creme cups. I love it when I have clients who collect something special. This tabletop is the perfect example of using the things you love in unexpected ways and the result could not be more beautiful or inspiring. Doesn’t this gorgeous table just sing Spring?
