A West Hollywood Bungalow

Over the holidays, a good friend of mine told me about a fabulous vacation house she and her family had rented in Lake Tahoe. Intrigued, I visited the site she used to secure her rental, VRBO.com, and found homes that range from luxurious and over the top to chic and cozy like this charming bungalow in West Hollywood. Do you ever opt to stay in a vacation rental as opposed to a traditional hotel?

{Isn’t this house darling?}

{The interiors are an exercise in bohemian glamour.}

{The accessories and furnishings in the space range from Baroque to rustic making for an interesting, eclectic mix and giving guests the feeling of being in a boutique hotel.}

{The kitchen features pavers laid in a herringbone pattern along with some industrial elements.}

{A Romantic Bath with a Custom, Skirted Sink, Painted Floors, and Brass Hardware}

{A Pretty Guest Bedroom}

{How gorgeous are these peacock blue cement tiles?}

{The outdoor pool area is just as charming as the inside of the house. I love the striped curtains and awning as well as the cool, modern wicker lounge chairs and spun fiberglass bar.}

  1. I love this charming little gem! I want to hang out by that pool all day. We’ve had great luck with VRBO domestically and internationally. My husband and I prefer to stay in a residence if we go anywhere for more than a long weekend. Much more relaxing for us.

  2. I’ve always had great experiences with VRBO, and this is a particularly gorgeous listing–thanks for sharing it! Could you please provide a link to the listing for those of us who may be interested in renting it?

  3. What a great house! We have used VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner) before, with great success. One of the most notable was a beautiful, abundantly stocked condo in Copper Mountain, Colorado, with wonderful interiors – we didn’t want to go home!
