Do Tell: If you could have any handbag, what would it be?

Pinned Image

Yes, this is a totally superficial post, but sometimes life gets heavy and unfortunately, my life has been pretty heavy lately. We have been dealing with some major illnesses in my immediate family for the past several months. I won’t get into the details now because frankly, I just need to take my mind off of it all for a bit. I came across this fun infographic on “it” designer handbags on Pinterest the other day and immediately wondered which bag my stylish readers would choose. So, if you could select any handbag (it doesn’t have to be from the graphic) which would you want the most?

  1. Im so sorry to hear that you’re going through depressing times.

If I could have any bag at all, it would be the Birkin bag. But I also love most of the Louis Vuitton bags.

  2. It’s been on my Christmas list for years and guessing it’ll stay on there for many more, but my closet would be complete with a Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Speedy 40 bag added to it.

  3. J. Crew Brompton Hobo in henna (camel). Gorgeous color, comfortable loose style, and big enough to hold whatever books I’m currently reading and papers that I’m editing.

  4. hello celine!

i do hope that your family is okay. i hope that the blog will be a happy outlet for when it’s hard to keep thinking.

  5. Interesting post! I’m working on a collection of Chanel. My fav Chanel is the 2005 2.55 Reissue Anny edition. I was born in 2-55, the year Coco Chanel debuted her iconic bag. The 2005 edition was in honor of that bag. It took a long time to find one, but I finally did !!

  6. I love the bag graphics. I have always loved Lois Vuitton and still like the denim bag they used to have, forgotten its name. I never did buy one but always hungered for one.

I understand what your going through, I am going through similar, in fact its one reason I started my own blog as a means of escape from the worries of the terminal illness my mother has.

My prayers go out to you and your family.

  7. Sending healing thoughts to your family members. As for the bags, I think I’m stuck in the canvas tote life stage (even though I’m 30 something…) Ah Vell!

  8. I have the Birkin, Chanel and the Celine bags. I would not want to have to decide. It would be impossible. I am carrying the Celine right now. But love love them all.
    Hugs to you!! Stay strong.
    You can do this!!

  9. I love reading your posts! Your images are always dreamy.
That Birkin bag will always be a dream of mine. And maybe not so much the bag, but more the lifestyle it represents…sigh. Though, my life and style are pretty damn awesome, too.

    Prayers to your family members.
