  1. Hello Paloma!

I’ll pray for your flight. The weather is chaotic everywhere right now. I almost couldn’t get my car out of the garage today because our driveway was looking like a ski hill. Be calm and you’ll be home soon. 🙂

I’m happy for you being on Gilt. That’s one of my favorite sites!

Have a great trip back home.

  2. A giant congrats on the magazine- it’s ridiculously fabulous and the graphic style/glamour of the whole thing totally blew me away. I hope your get home soon and will definitely check out Gilt Groupe for your sale- very exciting! xo

  3. I must admit that I am disappointed with the price points of the items you chose for Gilt.

Did they give you choices? I notice that many of the labels are ones that Gilt has carried before (Adler, Barclay Butera, Safavieh, KW linens). Perhaps that is why the only items under $100 that aren’t books are a candle, 2 pillows, and a box?

It would be really interesting to know how these “curated” sales work.

  4. Fingers crossed for you. Loved the premiere issue and wanted to say how much I loved the Fairmont piece – I had done a piece about the fabulously historic penthouse as well this fall. The talented team at Champalimaud are so helpful!

  5. The magazine was stunning. I loved the fact that my poor relation $35 Thomasville server — waiting to be “renewed” — was featured on the cover — looking all fabulous in high gloss black. Looking forward to the sale. And while I loved the magazine I too thought the price points were pretty high. But as you can see from my server comment — great inspiration. Thanks. Well done.
