Fabulous Room Friday 01.07.11

I love how beautiful this dining room by Suzanne Kasler is in its simplicity. Everything is neutral, yet completely glamorous. The contrast of the sumptuous silk tablecloth against the dark chairs is fantastic while the crystal obelisks, chandelier and silver serving pieces add to the allure of the room. This is a perfect example of why simplicity is synonymous with elegance. Happy weekend, everyone!

  1. Oh, that is a fabulous room. We are looking at a new table and chairs for our breakfast nook, and those are the exact chairs I’ve had in my imagination. So pretty. Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. Beautiful indeed. But I think an important detail is the mirror in the back of the cabinet – it adds just the right amount of glitter in the reflection to spice it up. And I have coveted those colorful cut crystal tumblers for years!

  3. Super love your blog. Especially that you’re from Houston! I sometimes feel like everyone “cool” is a thousand miles away from Texas.

Anddd I have a question that I hope you could answer. Do you have any suggestions for shops that sell relatively modern desks? By modern I mean streamlined designs that do not read “chunky wood”

    Thanks in advance :]
