Fabulous Room Friday 12.17.10

I love this beautiful kitchen designed by Tracery Interiors. It has a rustic, yet polished look that appears so cozy and inviting…perfect for baking Christmas cookies! I like that there are two marble islands that can perform different functions. The commercial refrigerator is amazing and the overall layout looks completely conducive to serious cooking and entertaining.

Even though the kitchen has open shelving rather than traditional cabinetry, there is plenty of storage and a charming and useful ladder to boot!

  1. Love this kitchen.. We are almost finished with our renovation and i omitted the top cabinets and did shelving as well and my husband also insisted on the commercial frig. Love all the white as i was so over the dark cabinets in a kitchen. Fresh, modern and i appreciate the post.

  2. ADORE this kitchen- just fabulous. I do think, however, I might have preferred a single island. I realize the second is mobile but I like a lot of space to spread out when I’m cooking – especially baking – and holiday baking, with all the cookie racks etc really starts to get expansive!
