Sex and the City Movie: The Book

Okay, okay. I know I’ve written A LOT about Sex and the City lately, but I can’t help it. I love these characters and their stories so, so much. After four long years, there is finally more material! Evidently, there is a new book detailing the movie, the fashion throughout the film and all six seasons of the show, behind the scenes gossip, tours of the places they filmed the movie and more. New York Magazine says it’s a must-have, so of course, I ordered a copy. Buy yours here.

If you decide that you just have to have some of the girls’ looks for yourself, be sure to check out Seen On for all of the details on the wardrobe for the SATC movie and many other cool features.

  1. HOnestly, I”m glad they’re doing this. Otherwise we have to hunt and research to discover what bag, what shoes, what dress (etc) they were wearing. I love that they’ve just come right out with it.

I wonder how relevant this will seem to us in 10-20 years. Will it be as big as it seems today? Are the indeed the fashion icons we deem them to be?

    Go Patricia Fields!

  2. I totally agree, Franki! I think everyone who has seen the movie is infatuated with the fashion. So yes, it is a fantastic idea to have all of the details in one book. 🙂

  3. Hi Paloma just ran across your lovely blog and saw you mentioned SeenON! where I am an editor! It has been wonderful compiling all the fashion in the movie for our SATC section on the site. http://www.seenon.com/film/sex-the-city/
I know the fashion will still be relevant to me in 10-15 years! It’s like pop culture history! Keep up all the great work!
