Paradise Found

Earlier this week, as I was working on the Style Files post for Anne Hepfer, I was struck by a beautiful home she designed in Windsor, Florida. On Monday, I had also featured a home published in the current issue of Canadian House & Home that is coincidentally located in Windsor as well. Is Windsor the new, go-to destination for Canadians seeking a warm refuge during the cold winter months? Either way, I couldn’t stop thinking about the gorgeous home Anne had designed. The architecture is so classic and beautiful. I especially love the blue beams on the ceiling on the patio and in the foyer. I also love the formal living in the house. It is elegant, yet completely relaxed and inviting. The home is beautifully designed– chic, yet completely relaxed for its location at the beach. I have only been to Florida once when I visited Palm Beach about five years ago, but suddenly, I am thinking I may be majorly overdue for another visit!

{One of my favorite things in the room is this fantastic skirted table. Dressed in stripes, it creates a clever focal point–and storage, if necessary, though I doubt that is the case in this house. I love a big table with artfully arranged stacks of books, flowers, and interesting objets. There is nothing better than a chic tableau!}

{Another Pretty Guest Bedroom featuring Twin Beds– Notice the beautiful finish on the floors which is perfect for a beach house. I also love that Anne repeated the way she used the same pattern on the headboard, bedskirt, and bench in this room as she did in the other guest bedroom.}
