Mark D Sikes Beautiful Book

I could not be more proud or thrilled for my dear friend, Mark D. Sikes whose upcoming book, Beautiful will be here very soon. I remember sitting in Mark’s kitchen a couple of years ago and chatting about his book concept. Once everything started coming to fruition, he shared some of the layouts with me. Like everything Mark does, his book will be chic, glamorous, and inspiring. I have no doubt that his effortless California style will emanate from every page and am so excited to see the final version in print! The book will officially be released on September 20, 2016, but it is available for pre-order now.

It has been incredible watching Mark make so many of his dreams come true through his talent and determination. Not only is he a special friend, he has been an incredible mentor to me– teaching me so many things and inspiring me to be better. While the images from the book are not yet available, I’ve included a few of my favorite images of Mark’s Beautiful house in the Hollywood Hills below.

  1. That terraced garden is astounding. And it could have been a disaster–such a challenging terrain–but they dealt with it beautifully.
I also love that black bathroom. I love all of it, really, but those stand out.

  2. Thanks for introducing me to your talented friend, Mark! I have followed along on his blog as he’s worked on each project and I’m always inspired by his grace, energy and talent. I was excited to see his love of blue & white (happens to be my fav color combo too!) and his beloved stripes (that kitchen towel over the sink-perfection!) throughout his home. You are both equally lucky to have each other as friends. Looking forward to getting an opportunity to read his gorgeous new book!

    Cheers to the weekend!
