London in Still Frames

Our recent trip to London and Paris a couple of weeks ago was one of our favorite trips ever. We had the best time! I am working on putting together some travel guides with my top recommendations for each city, but they take hours upon hours to create, so it may be a little while until I can finish them. In the meantime, I’ll share some of my favorite photos from each city. After all, they say a picture is worth a thousand words!

{I was so inspired by Kit Kemp’s work while staying at the Ham Yard. Even though this isn’t my same aesthetic, there are so many great details.}

{Part of the Restaurant at the Ham Yard– It was always busy! The food is great and the surroundings are pretty fabulous.}

{We had tea in the conservatory one afternoon. Yummy!}

{I’m obsessed with the details at the Dean Street Townhouse– so chic!}

{We spent an afternoon at the Victoria & Albert Museum. It is one of my very favorite museums.}

{London has so many beautiful flower stands. This one, at Liberty of London, is certainly one of the best.}

{I love the elegant architecture in London.}

{A Charming Mews House}

{I loved this black and white entrance to a townhouse hotel.}

{We were able to score a highly coveted reservation at the Chiltern Firehouse. It did not disappoint.}

{We sat at the Chef’s Counter, so we had dinner and a show. The food is fantastic, the hotel is super cool and has a very New York vibe. It is owned by André Balazs, the owner of Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.}

  1. Beautiful pictures Paloma! I used to work kitty-korner from the building in Lincolns Inn Fields that you posted – that office houses Farrer & Co, a law firm that works for the Queen! If you google around you can find some pictures of the interior too which is also gorgeous.

  2. Thank you for your charming London photos. I will put several of these locations on my agenda for my upcoming trip. Your post has put me in the mood to make a spot of afternoon tea now!

  3. PUH-LEEZE work on a travel guide for London and Paris. Would love to see these cities again through a discerning eye!!
    Lovely pics.
    Thank you for sharing!
