So Shady

Jcrew Sam

J.Crew just launched a new collection of private label sunglasses. For years, they’ve featured other brands including Ray-Ban and Illesteva, but they have finally designed their own proprietary collection. I am very much a creature of habit and have been wearing my oversized Ray-Ban aviators for a good while now. They’re classic and I know I’ll continue wearing them forever, but lately, I have been craving a great pair of tortoise glasses. While in Las Vegas last week, we popped into the ultra-chic Céline boutique and I tried on several pairs, feeling like Goldilocks all the while. One pair was too small while the next was too big and ultimately, I left empty-handed because none were just right.

J.Crew’s new collection offers a fresh take on six classic styles in both classic and bold colors. I’m thinking the Betty or the Sam might be good options for me. At $98.00 – $128.00, the price point is great, especially if you are prone to losing your sunglasses! I also love the way the styled the photography for collection featuring the beautiful Carolyn Murphy and Liya Kebede in an assortment of super classic J.Crew ensembles.

  1. Savored the long discovery and procurement of my lucite Chanel sunglasses. Blends beautifully with hair gone sterling. Just a bit of sparkle in the intertwined initials logo. Love them!
