I have been in New York this week for Vicente Wolf‘s design seminar. I spoke about social media and blogging yesterday and I was blown away to hear that more than half of those in attendance had signed up because they’d heard about the seminar on my blog. It’s the power of social media at work! I am feeling energized and inspired after hearing Vicente speak so candidly about his experience and the way he runs his design business and loved meeting such a wonderful group of talented women from around the country.
Last night, Vicente had us all over to his chic loft for a closing cocktail party. His home is so beautiful and personal. It really tells the story of who he is, what he loves, and what matters most to him. The light in his apartment is pure perfection and even in iPhone photos, like these two that I snapped last night, it looks incredible.
Each room in Vicente’s home is quite chic, but I especially loved his bedroom. The way in which he arranges furniture is quite brilliant and the overall space is curated much like a gallery as opposed to being “decorated”. I’m off to enjoy a day of visiting some favorite resources in New York before I head home tomorrow. This weekend, I challenge you to take a look around your home, think about the things that mean the most to you and are most representative of who you are, and arrange some beautiful, meaningful vignettes.
