Jet Set: The Mercer Hotel in Barcelona

mercer-02-800x532Hello LDV readers! Brendan here of B.A.D | Blog About Design. For today’s Jet Set post I wanted to take us to the beautiful city of Barcelona, Spain. This vibrant city has a mix of old world charm and 21st century energy. The Mercer Hotel is located in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. The hotel is designed within a historical monument by architect Rafael Moneo. When you walk through the hotel you can see many of the original architectural details of the historical monument. (ABOVE) The massive wooden doors open up into a light and airy lobby space.
