Hello LDV readers! Brendan here of B.A.D | Blog About Design. For today’s Jet Set post, I’ve decided to take us to the Standard High Line in NYC. This incredible modern hotel hovers over the iconic NY High Line. The 338 suite hotel is the perfect getaway for couples. (ABOVE) The hotel is in the perfect location. You can visit the Chelsea Market, which sells yummy lobsters, gelato, and many other culinary indulgences. You’re also conveniently located to luxury shopping. What do you think of the hotel? Have you been here before?
(Above) The lobby is very modern it features an onyx check in desk and many places to sit back and relax.(Above) Isn’t this elevator area so fun? I love the lighting, such a unique design choice. (Above) The Standard Grill is the perfect place to come to and grab lunch. At the Standard Grill one can enjoy fresh oysters, specialty cocktail, and charcuterie as well as grilled food galore!(Above) The guest suites are modern with a touch of mid-century. The 300 sq ft Liberty Corner King Suite features a king size bed with Italian sheets, and stunning views of downtown NYC, and the river. (Above) The Empire Suite is my favorite. The 875 sq ft white lacquered space features two sitting rooms, a separate bedroom, with a king size bed and views of Midtown, and the West Village.
