2014 LDV Gift Guide: For the Bibliophile

I really don’t collect too many things, unless you count stacks upon stacks of beautiful books on design, fashion, travel, and style icons. I love reading my beloved books and turning to them for inspiration. A beautiful coffee table book is at the top of my list of favorite gifts to give and receive, so I thought it would be great to kick off this year’s “LDV Holiday Gift Guides” with a round-up of fabulous books! Naturally, a good portion of the list is made up of design books—I’ve chosen my favorite titles of the year from tastemakers like Markham Roberts, Carolyn Englefield, and Robert Couturier; along with tributes to icons of style like Tory Burch (her book is my favorite of 2014) and Lou Lou de la Falaise; a covetable tome about Oscar de la Renta’s remarkable style which has become difficult to find after his recent passing; several fascinating books for the stylish man in your life, along with a few great options for the cook and hostess, plus some books for the children in your life to treasure.
