Lust List: October 2014

So far, the month of October has been fantastic! We’ve actually had beautiful, Fall weather in Houston lately and it’s turned out to be a month filled with exciting work trips. Last week, I shared my experience at the Kohler Bloggers Conference that I attended in Wisconsin; I am currently in High Point for furniture market which is always fun and inspiring– not to mention exhausting, and next week, I will be heading to Portland for a special VIP trip with Ann Sacks which I am super excited about. Between all of this travel, client meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, and socializing, I need workhorse pieces in my wardrobe that are versatile, chic, and travel well.

You’ll notice I have pulled together a selection of mostly neutrals and as usual, have added color through accessories like jewelry and shoes. I’ve been craving a full midi-skirt for a while, hopefully this one will do the trick! I also need a great new tote that is stylish enough to carry as a purse anywhere, but roomy enough for when I need to carry client files, paint swatch books, and my heavy tape measure. I am considering investing in a Goyard Saint Louis Tote and adding one of their fabulous monograms, but since we don’t have a Goyard store or a Barney’s in Houston, I will have to wait until I am in L.A. again in December. Do you have a favorite, stylish tote that you would recommend? Happy Monday!
