  2. I would love to attend, as taking the plunge into a career change is a 2013 (fearless) goal! I can’t think of a better way to incubate my budding ID ideas and network than this event (that I’ve long oogled but the registration fee is beyond my budget).

  5. Its funny that I was told just today that I should take the plunge into Interior Design. I’ve been a Real Estate professional since I was 18, and feel that my taste has been part of what has made my home investments sell so quickly.

My fingers are crossed that I’m chosen as the winner!

  6. I’m a young interior designer and I started my own business about a month ago. I would LOVE to attend…probably desperately need it too! 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway! Would love to network and learn more about what others are doing in the business.

  7. I would love to attend because my specialty is in home organizing. While I have personally cultivated a love of interior design, as well, I don’t feel confident in my ability to advice clients in that regard as I lack any real training. Adding that aspect would be a huge injection for my business!

  8. this would mean alot to me! i am maturing and getting better with age, i will be 40 and finally going to put my future in my hands now! this would be an a amazing opportunity! thanks!

  9. What an exciting event and offer! I would love to go as I started my design career in Atlanta in 1988. It was the land of opportunity in the thriving design industry and I learned from some masters there.

  10. I would love to attend this Design Camp & I would love to take my 25 year old daughter who is attending Design school at The Corcoran in Washington DC. We are a family of artists, designers, stylists, as my mother in law is also an interior designer/artist in New York. I am a Hair Designer in VA & I dabble in interiors as well. Color Theory is something that binds us all together. We share many thoughts, blogs, ideas….I regularly follow your blog & enjoy your thoughts, comments, & inspirations. Thanks for sharing~hopefully we will be considered for your giveaway.

  11. Oh how i would love to go to Design Camp. I have just graduated with a interior design diploma and i am sort of stuck as to what to do now. there is so much competition in my area that taking a risk on a new designer does not seem to appeal to most clients. perhaps it is a confidence issue. This could be just the thing I need.
    thanks

  17. I am looking to take my interior design business to the next level and would love some great advice on how to do that!

  18. Hi Paloma!

I work for a financial advisor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I spend a good part of my day obsessing over pinterest, design blogs (especially yours), and online websites looking for deals and things for my home that I can actually afford. I have always loved design but lately I have started to wonder…. Why am I not doing this for a living???? All through high school and college I could never find a career I LOVED. I am almost 25 now and somehow ended up here at this job. Going to Design Camp could be the start of a new career that truly makes me happy. They always say “Do what you love and you won’t work a day in your life!”

  19. I can’t win because I am a speaker at Design Camp but I am so excited that someone will get to win a ticket to go! It’s the most amazing two and a half days a serious interior designer can experience. The amount of valuable, “spot-on” info and take-aways for your design business is worth ten times the cost of this event. Not kidding. Lori and Kelli have pulled out all the stops for these events and I was so amazed in Austin. I knew the line-up was daunting and even as a speaker, I was a bit intimidated (and I’m hard to intimidate). I had NO idea that much educational and real – “new” world info could be shared in under three days. So congratulations ahead of time to the winner! You are never going to forget this event! See you there. Katy A. Garrett/Connexionsoft

  22. What a fabulous and exciting opportunity! Design Camp is just what I need to get my head back in the game after having a baby in June and mothering two under two! Between the baby brain and sleep deprivation, I need to be around “with it” people like Lori and Kelli to reignite my passion and tweak my business plan to better serve me and my family. AND, Atlanta makes it just close enough for me to drag the kids and hubby along! Fingers crossed!!

  23. Despite my degrees in advertising and PR and experience with event planning, it wasn’t until recently I realized design, in all forms, is truly my passion. Whether it is online branding, event styling, personal styling or home furnishing my dream is to design lifestyles. 26. Paloma,

I would be beyond thrilled to win a coveted spot at Design Camp! I read Lori’s story about her start in design. Our early beginnings are very similar. I have loved design since I was a little girl. For so many reasons, I didn’t follow my heart and pursue a career in design. I stepped away from my career to raise my two boys for the past five years. It wasn’t a family friendly career path. Now, as I contemplate my next step, I need to follow my heart, my dreams, my passion and pursue a career in interior design. It would make my whole year to be lucky enough to win this opportunity!!

  27. I would LOVE to attend! I am looking to make a career change from marketing to interior design in 2013. This would be the perfect opportunity to network and gain further insight on the industry. I know design is my passion and this would be the boost I need to my passion/dream a reality.
