Our Trip to San Francisco

Fabian and I recently celebrated his 28th birthday in San Francisco. We had a fantastic time! Some of the highlights of our trip include visiting the San Francisco Decorator Showcase house (more on that this weekend), eating lots of yummy food, and finally meeting Jeni of MrsPlainJane fame. She and I have known each other for about five years, but had yet to meet in person until this trip. She and her husband are a beautiful couple in every sense of the word. We hope to spend more time with them again soon. :)

It’s always so nice to break away from one’s daily routine, especially in a place as beautiful as San Francisco.

Francis Ford Coppola’s Gorgeous Copper Building on the edge of Chinatown and North Beach – Isn’t the patina amazing?

  1. how fun! i LOVE San Fran. the farmer’s market at the Ferry Building is amazing. i could spend hours and hours there. such a lovely trip! what a great birthday for your hubby. :)

  2. It looks like you guys had such a great time. I am so jealous I wasn’t there. 😛 I can’t wait for this summer when we are heading back and hitting Napa.

  3. Court – The GoCar was so much fun! It is a computer / GPS guided little car that tells you exactly where to go and tells you all about the places you are seeing. It has a built in tour. We were laughing the entire time because we felt like kids again. It was just sooo fun! You have to do it some time. :)

SGM – We have stayed at The Hotel Palomar both times we’ve been to SF. We really love it. It’s a very nice boutique hotel in SOMA and is central to everything. Great location for sightseeing. Send me your email address if you’d like more info. :)
